Research and Experiential Learning Farm MOU until 2032
We are pleased to enter into a memorandum of understanding with Emergence Global Enterprises Inc. (“Emergence Global” or the “Company”) (CSE: EMRG) (OTCQB: ELOAF), an acquirer, creator, and builder of reputable natural health consumer foods, products, and brands, to collaborate on the development of a research and experiential learning farm in Sherwood Park, Alberta with projects planned over the next decade.
There are more than a dozen projects over the next ten years that could be pursued as a result of this understanding. GCS is very excited to bring our expertise in applied data and innovation to this extremely important area of applied research. We hope to be able to do high quality data collection and analytics on indoor and outdoor agriculture on small (less than 80 acre) farms, but also this expertise to larger questions of infrastructure for food, water and power, using data and innovation to make them more resilient, efficient, and environmentally responsible.
More than that, applied data and innovation needs to go hand in hand with learning and development, and GCS is also very excited to use this farm as the basis to deliver our learning expertise and resources. We and our partners intend to use simulation and visualization tools along with other instructional design tools and approaches to enable others to grow and apply this necessary and important work in food, water and power security.
